A young girl's first time fishing and it couldn't get any better. Marley spends the afternoon with her Dad fishing at a lake which is near the campgrounds that her family is staying at. They encounter Deer, quail, squirrels and many other wild animals along their journey to a magical spot by the water. There were duck's and geese that were starting to fly in and out of the area. This was all very exciting to Marley hiking in the forest with her Dad carrying all this fishing gear, she was on a mission that's for sure. Marley is not quite sure what to expect because she has never been fishing before but regardless of what happens she told herself that she would have fun and that she did. Do you remember the time when you caught your very first fish? That feeling of power. When Marley and her Dad set out to go fishing Marley had no idea what to expect. It started early in the morning by the campfire with her Dad making coffee. They started down the trail leaving Marley's Mom and two brothers back at camp sleeping. It didn't take long before they start to see wildlife, lots of deer and quail running about. Ducks and geese flying in and out of the trees. Then they get to this beautiful lake. Marley was amazed how perfect everything looked, as if nothing has ever disturbed this area. After learning about hooks, line and bait it is time to start fishing. This is a tradition that Fathers hand down to their children and it could not have gone any better. A happy ending for all.
