Who Feels It May Not Know

It is funny how I knew nothing about being a parent but I knew how I got myself in the position that I was in. I was pregnant, lost and confuse and I knew I would be a statistic again when all I wanted to do was break this darn cycle.The moment the doctor confirmed that I was pregnant all I could think was that my name would be in the wrong book again and it was now on the wrong list again. I would be named amoung those failed young ladies. The ones that the system failed, the ones that failed themselves and even more the poor families that they were from. I wanted to change this moment. I felt so ashamed and disgust but it was the will of God and the will of God may not always align with our own plans but it is the will of God and it will always prevail. I repeat "the will of God will always prevail."I learned this the hard way.
