After Archer and Aradia arrive at Sundari for a visit with King Herron, they learn Star Warriors have landed and set up camp in the wilderness. Concerned for the safety of his kingdom, King Herron needs Archer and Aradia's help. Fearing the newcomers can bring chaos and destruction to his kingdom, King Herron appoints Archer and Aradia his ambassadors. Their mission: Travel overland to the Star Warriors' camp and invite their leader to the city to meet King Herron. After agreeing to help, Archer and Aradia join the Kantor Warriors who will escort them to Sundari's river for the last phase of their journey. On the way to join the River Warriors, they stop at Lokwanda to see a herd of living dinosaurs. Astounded at the sight, Archer and Aradia learn Sundari is an animal refuge and home to every animal that's ever lived in the galaxy. After joining the River Warriors, Aradia unexpectedly finds an unusual charm on the river bottom. The leader of the River Warriors recognizes the charm and tells them it identifies the Star Warriors as enemies of the Mother Star. This changes everything and the danger escalates when Archer and Aradia are told King Herron has sent them to meet the leader of the star fleet that kidnapped Volka's wife and child. Can they save Volka's family or will Sundari's uninvited guests escape to wander the universe with their prisoners?
