The Mariner's Cookbook

The recipes contained in this book are many of the family and Chef favorites. Chef Chaz selected Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Down South dishes that are easy to prepare and have been cooked on board his sailing charters. The use of Sofrito and Sazon, as seasonings, for many of the Spanish dishes are inspired by his mother and sister. The book also features Captain Chaz's Log of the 2011 Marion Massachusetts to Bermuda Race Regatta, that details the challenges, preparation, provisioning, feeding the crew, and the ultimate experience of open ocean sailing / racing.
