Awakening (The Gift They Gave Us)

On April 22nd four precious babies were being born around the world all on the same day and at the same time. Deep within the lush tropical rainforest of Brazil, a girl with bright green eyes and brown hair was born and her name will be Genesis. Across to the east in the continent of Africa, another girl was born, she has beautiful brown eyes, brown hair and her name will be Annie. Far away in another continent, while a boy with dirty blond hair and brown eyes by the name of Matthew is born in the vibrant city of New York, another boy is born in Australia, he has brown hair and aqua blue eyes; his name will be Nicholas. This special day of April 22nd is known to all as "Earth Day". These very special children not only share the same birthday but will also share a great and rare gift, a huge responsibility of enormous powers at a time of great need to our planet. You see, Genesis, who was born amidst the lush tropical rain forest, will control all plant life as we know it, while Annie who was born alongside the wild animals will have a special affinity and communication to all animals. Matthew will come to realize his huge power to control the weather and climate while Nicholas possesses the power to control the oceans, lakes, and rivers. During the upbringing of these gifted children they along with their parents will slowly together discover their enormous powers and although they all live very far apart from each other, unknown forces will bring them together. They and their parents will come to realize that they must keep their gifts a secret. During their childhood, each of these children will be tested for their ability to cope and handle certain situations. They all grow up to be outstanding young professional adults, educated and relatively live normal lives until one day. One day when our planet can no longer endure anymore destruction. Global warming will reach its toll and in the process, some animals will be extinct, huge ice glaciers will break apart and melt overflowing oceans, plant life will die from water droughts, extreme cold, and fires. The climate and weather will become threatening, volatile and more destructive. It will be then when these four gifted individuals will come to realize that they can no longer sit idly by while their precious earth is being destroyed by mankind, for they not only share the same birthday and special powers but they also share the love and devotion to preserving planet earth. It is this love that will forever unite them.
