Crossing Roads

Eighteen year old Elizabeth receives an unexpected phone call from a boy a year older than her who she knew in high school, that had since moved away, inviting her to a wedding. Although her estranged father forbids her to go, she packs for a weekend trip to New York. Before she leaves her home in New Jersey, her father tells her, if she leaves, do not even think about coming home again. Despite her troubling mind, Elizabeth has a good time at the wedding reception meeting Michael's family and is treated like a new addition, which ruffles the Brides feathers. Michael and Elizabeth experience their first sexual encounter that night and Michael knows he cannot let this girl walk out of his life. He asks Elizabeth to stay in New York and live with him in an apartment he shares with his father. Knowing what trouble looms at home, and falling in love with Michael, she accepts. The young couple begins a journey through a new life together.
