This book brings together the proceedingsof two seminars organised at the University of Pau and the Pays de l'Adour in2019 and 2020. 18 contributions, grouped across five themes, offer innovativemethodologies to better understanding of the complex period of Late Antiquity.To achieve this, the different contributions of the book examine various themes(rural settlements and the organisation of territories, economy, power andsociety, the funerary world), in a variety of study areas (Gaul, Hispania, Lusitania,Istria...).
