Jack Titus is a product of the great depression, World War II and the struggle with Japan. Titus was among the very first American servicemen to reach the shores of Japan and Japan's largest city, Tokyo. It was during the time the United States commenced occupation of Japan with the legendary General Douglas McArthur at the helm. The historic moment has remained a significant event in Titus's interesting life. After discharge from the Navy, Titus finished his education at the University of Oregon and set his sites on New York City. That experience was a reality education. Eventually he was lured back to the North West where Titus then began to start a family. By 1954 he had become the father of two daughters and a son. Titus followed a career in real estate resort development covering the Pacific coast and the Mexican Riviera. He has traveled extensively in Western Europe and has been retired in the Palm Springs area for more than 15 years. During that time Titus has published two non-fiction books and many articles on desert life and celebrity profiles. Although afflicted with Parkinson's disease for the past five years, Titus continues his passion - writing. He can be found at his computer most every day working on his next novel.
