The Song: For Angela and Sarah

The abduction of an 8 1/2 month old American baby girl (Sarah) from the US to a European country in 1998, inspired her father to compose this little book of inspiration. She has not seen her father since that time, but it's expected she will (finally) this year (2008). "The Song" incorporates the words of Phillis Wheatley (former slave), Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Mother Teresa, Jimi Hendrix, Duke Ellington, Johann Sebastian Bach, Mark Twain, Marianne Moore, Henry Ford, Kahlil Gibran, Mahatma Gandhi, Benjamin Franklin, General Patton, Mary Perry King, Lucille Ball, Charles Schultz, Confucius, Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Albert Einstein, William Penn, Caesar Marcus Aurelius, many others, and the author.
