Gary Tuominen is a Canadian by birth, with Finnish ancestry. He has made Puerto Rico his second home since 1982, with his wife, Carmen Medina. Soon after, they founded the House of Praise Ministries, bringing a fresh rebirth of praise and adoration to the Lord. The missions were also not just to the Island but also to Israel, the US, and Latin America. Gary has been a radio/TV news broadcaster all his adult life.
