The story covers the circumstances that led up to the epic Battle of Avarayr in 451 and how the results of deadly fighting influenced the relationship between Armenia and heathen Persia. The unassailable patriotism and loyalty displayed during this period demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ and the continuation of the nation's Christian faith. The book elaborates on the incidents of history that are so reflective to a country that has had so many adversaries and enemies.
