Emptiness Spoke

A dying father, Mose Jeffers, has achieved the good life. Having passed his work ethic down to his children, they too are successful. However, Mose realizes his children all are troubled--including one who is in a loveless marriage, another who holds fast to an unrealistic dream of becoming a rapper, and another with a crippling gambling problem. His hope is that a multi-million dollar windfall will ease their burdens, but instead the family gathering sparks treachery and indifference. All the while, Mose's wife maintains a quiet dignity as she copes with her husband's impending demise.
