Deacon'S Promise

Deacons Promise is an action thriller set in South Africa. In the midst of his own crisis of faith, Deacon Adelius receives a letter from a murdered friend, pleading with him to go to South Africa to rescue his children, whose lives are in danger from international drug smugglers led by a villain who is clever, ruthless, and beautiful. What his friend asks from the grave, Deacon must grant. Deacon becomes a hunter and hunted, as he weaves his way from Cape Town to Zimbabwe in a trail of violence in which he must call upon all his Chicago street smarts and previous military experience to survive and accomplish his mission.
