The Curse of the Trapped Soul

The Curse of the Trapped Soul, is an urban adventure of twelve year old Grayson Martinez. It begins when he finds a cursed ancient rug in his attic that possesses the soul of a boy. Soon, the soul begins to talk to Grayson and tells him of his past life. Grayson keeps this a secret, but before he can learn more about the curse and the trapped soul, his mother sells the rug to Frank the Junkman during a yard sale. Grayson's exciting adventure begins when he decides to ride his bicycle to rescue the trapped soul. Once at Frank's Junkyard, Grayson realizes that Frank is evil when he sees an abused puppy. Grayson struggles with a new problem of stealing the puppy along with the rug. On the way home, Grayson experiences obstacles and is saved by a homeless man and brought to an abandoned house where he meets four other strange homeless men. Grayson befriends them and learns of their tragic lives resulting from the curse of the trapped soul. The reader is surprised when the secret curse is unraveled and Grayson discovers an astonishing truth.
