America is still the greatest, most blessed land in history. As an American I am so thankful to be a part of this blessing. The Words of the Lord are far and away the most important thing to have; to cherish; to hear. God's book, the Bible, is available everywhere in this great land. But there are some things Americans are losing. There is a famine in this land. Not a famine of food or water; America has plenty. Instead, a famine of hearing the Words of the Lord exists. Amos said it best, as he pointed this out: Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: If the modern scholars are correct concerning the King James Bible, then man has not had the preserved Word of God for over 400 years. Modern scholars say this Bible is wrong. Today it is becoming rare to see this Bible in church.Amos 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. My name is Fred A. Kuypers. I was saved on December 7th 1980. I was saved by reading and believing the gospel and asking Jesus Christ to save me. My Bible at that time was a Catholic Confraternity Text Bible. There was a new hunger for God's Word and I began to question some passages and teachings which I had learned as a new Christian. Within The Path along God's Highway is much of what I learned about Bibles and particularly the King James Bible."
