Rachel Kennelly is divorced, beautiful, and smart. It's easy to see why she's desired- but someone seems to desire more than she's willing to give...her life. Somehow she has attracted the attention of a serial killer who is killing women who seem to have something against her- and who also happen to resemble her. Each time she fails to appreciate and understand the killer's actions puts her at risk of changing from angel to devil, thus becoming the grand finale of this murder spree. There is no shortage of suspects. He's developed feelings for Rachel that he fears will interfere with his ability to do his job. Rachel's ex-husband is a dirty cop who wants to kick Miller's ass and get Rachel back. And the killer is leaving absolutely no forensic evidence to work with. As the killer's rage and brutality escalate the task force fears that they are losing to a very bright psychopath and that the lovely Rachel will be next. Meanwhile Miller draws closer and closer to her and knows that losing her will kill him too.
