Robert retires from the Paterson Fire Department to take a job as Public Safety Director of the Federal Government in Washington DC. His second day on the job he wakes up to find the President and the first family has been murdered. It is a terrorist plot against the United States Government. He falls in love with three women but has to be careful not to get into a Washington Scandal.
