I didn't know how to end the nightmares. I was tormented during my sleep, and thought about my nightmares more than half the day. I tried to make sense of them. I wondered if in a past life I had been a civilian during a world war trying desperately to escape the devastation of war, However, I didn't believe in past lives or reincarnation.
