Emmett continues the adventures of little Emmett Hofmeister and his dad which were originally documented in an earlier book entitled Little Man. Whereas Little Man followed Emmett from the womb until his first birthday using a loose form of free verse, this book highlights some of Emmett's big and little achievements for ages two through five using lyrical poetry.
