Exception Court was born out of the Travels In Time series. Unlike prior volumes which contain three short stories or novelettes, Exception Court lent itself to a full length story line. Part One begins with the death and resurrection of a man, his genome parsed and sold for commercial use. Awakened to a world he no longer recognizes, he fights for emancipation only to be put on trial for a crime committed almost a century before. Like all stories from the series, Exception Court remains true to science and in this case; true to the courtroom. Whether or not man can travel through time, the final Exception Court is a future that is close to becoming fact, and time itself is carrying each of us toward judgement.
