Set a few years after the first volume The Archetypes-First Generation, the Rexes find themselves under attack by their archenemies, the Renfield family. Pennington has vowed to destroy Amanda and Benjamin's children, and their entire family so everything he cherishes is at stake as Beans faces off with the evil megalomaniac who made them all what they are.
