The moment we said yes to the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior we entered a war. We are at war with Satan and his host of demons. We already know that after all is said and done we win. However, our enemy is relentless in carrying out his schemes. He wants to diminish the quality of our lives and the effectiveness of our witness. "Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12)." It is a spiritual war, and it is a war for souls! Satan wants to win as many souls as he can. If we are weighed down and distracted by the issues of life we become fruitless in the Kingdom and winning souls to Christ. That is why it is so important that we overcome our issues and do our part in expanding the Kingdom. Souls are at stake. Satan uses lies as his most effective scheme. Every issue we face as Christians results from his lies. Lies we believe and the truths we fail to embrace. Anything contrary to the Word of God is a lie! When we are misled by his lies and fail to embrace God's truth we struggle with many issues. Believers are living defeated and ineffective lives because we are not applying the Word of God. The antidote for the enemy's lies is truth. Therefore, the remedy to all of our issues is in the truth of God's Word. The solution to every problem and the answer to every question are in the Word! The Truth! Word Therapy is truth therapy. Word Therapy exposes the lies that lead to the issues we struggle with. It lays out the great and precious promises by topic so that you have a truth to combat every lie, shares insight and the encouragement you need to gain victory in these areas.
