Having been abandoned at an early age, drafted on his wedding day and living a life of unpredictability, Al held being a father to his three daughters and even some of his grandchildren in the highest regard. His flamboyantly foul mouth, wicked sense of humor and bold lifestyle often earned him the label, 'inappropriate' in the very least. He lived with trauma and demons from the abuse he endured as child and rarely, if ever, was dealt a decent hand of luck. Yet, he lived with an immeasurable passion and love for his family.
