Lynn Tatemshy grew up with an imaginary friend who would take her on adventures in her dreams and sometimes she thought he was really there. As she grew older she expected the man of her dreams to disappear with her childhood but he didn't, not until she was eighteen years old.As time passes Lynn grows up, moves in with her best friend and gets a job. She thinks that her life is ordinary until her world is turned upside down one morning when she arrives at work and begins to feel ill. When she starts to walk home someone bumps into her and doesn't even acknowledge it. Lynn has to leave her family, friends and life behind because she knows that there is no other choice. She goes with them back to their headquarters called Arden or "Home in the Mountains" Where she learns that she isn't a normal "Invisible."As she struggles to find who she really is and the truth about her past she fights with her fear of being alone and her fear to fall in love. Along the way she discovers she has abilities beyond her imagination.
