This Hollow Earth is a tantalising, multi-genre story that will intrigue you from the very start. Blending fact with fiction and reality with science fiction, this is a unique and compelling read. University lecturer, part-time explorer and ancient civilizations researcher, Alan Tremaine, discovers his great-grandfather's secret journal which sparks a life-changing and daring adventure. Following in his great-grandfather's footsteps, Alan self-funds his personal expedition to the North Pole. His organising efforts come under scrutiny by Lieutenant Forbes of the US Naval Intelligence Service who makes Alan's life extremely difficult. Forced to agree to Forbes accompanying Alan on the expedition, his gut instinct as to Forbes' agenda proves correct. When he discovers the ice cave to which his great-grandfather referenced a historic and unsolved mystery, no one could have prepared him for what happens next. Abducted by captors who soon realise Alan isn't a threat, he is semi-released and taken on an out-of-this-world mysterious experience. He is taken on a trip in his captors' advanced flying craft and travels around on their superb transit system; the buildings of the Inner Earth's cities are like nothing he has ever seen. With a guide by his side at all times, he meets several different species of intelligent beings, all of whom are far more advanced than the human race. With the passage of time, Alan's life lacks purpose and he slips deeper and deeper into melancholy. And despite his captors mentioning his release time and time again, nothing ever seems to happen. So he is left with no choice but to take matters into his hands. Will Alan ever resume 'normal' everyday life on earth again? Or is his new-found captivity all he will know for the rest of his days? Who is this tribe of strange captors and why are they keeping him under close guard? Take a look at the author's other two novels also avaliable on Amazon: Apocalypse 2045 (2014) and Desperate Lives (2015).
