I know, because although I have been working as a Java Programmer for many years, I have myself recently certified with the latest version of the Certification test. Before you start here are some Key features of the Certification Exam. This certification exam verifies that the candidate has the knowledge required in the area of Java Programming This certificate builds on basic consultant skills and experience that is then refined by practical experience during several projects. Candidates must also demonstrate understanding of Java Data Types, Operators & Decision constructs, Arrays, Loops, Encapsulation, Inheritance & Handling Exceptions. The exam is Computer based and you have 120 minutes to answer 70 Questions. The Questions are (mostly) multiple choice type and there is NO penalty for an incorrect answer.
