Like many things in life, this book was unexpected.It came in an unexpected way, during an unexpected time, while I was doing unexpected things, and living through a very unexpected experience. There's no 9-month pregnancy or preparation period for most experiences in life. And you don't always get to choose which experiences are going to be "up next," as if you were putting together a playlist on iTunes. So it was, that I found myself, in the middle of a rather dark season of my life, starting out on what I hoped would be a new, brighter chapter. That is where this book begins. With me leaving one job I was sick of, and moving into a job that, while it started out well, ultimately made me sicker. As in, more physically ill.Actually.To the point where, I literally dropped everything to try and re-orient my life and figure myself out. That is where this book ends.So come along for the ride, and let's see if we don't have some fun and learn (or at least think about) some things along the way!
