Seven Words To The Cross (Lenten)

How we respond to Christ and his cross is a central issue of life. The cross is real and its truth is something we all must face and make choices about. Even before Jesus was taken down from the wooden cross, various persons were already responding to it. We will attempt in this series of messages to enter into the drama of the cross - by thinking about those seven actors. In this season of Lent we will consider their responses the way they looked at the cross, what they saw and what they said. How the crowd, the religious leaders, the soldiers, the bystanders, two men who were crucified with him, the Roman Centurion responded to the cross of Christ.
