Roland Romano, a wealthy businessman, moved to the city of Tryon Park, Tennessee to purchase land and expand his business empire. As soon as he moved into the city, he discovered its seamy side: it was controlled by the notorious crime boss, Benny Coots, who resisted his every attempt to improve it. He feared that it would be the end of his own businesses: gambling, kidnapping, prostitution, extortion, and loan sharking if his plans were successful.
