The main character, Hanna Krusher, a sixteen year old girl, born deaf and blind, starts to have tremors throughout her body. The family physician Dr. Wells and Optometrist Dr. Myron Quiggley notice abnormalities in Hanna's MRI scan and seek the expert advice of Neurologist and ESP expert Dr. Cloe Steinbek. Upon inspecting Hanna's scans, Dr. Steinbek becomes suspicious of high level telepathy and requests further testing and a meeting with Hanna. A mysterious passenger gives Dr. Steinbek an Egyptian style pendant on her flight to see Hanna and odd dreams and occurrences follow. Soon the lives of Myron Quiggley and Cloe Steinbek spiral into a dangerous new direction. Eventually the truth is revealed, several alien races have been intertwined and living among humans for thousands of years. It is also revealed that the human race is in immediate danger and Hanna Krusher is the only person equipped to save them.
