White Rose, Red Rose

White Rose, Red Rose symbols of nonviolent resistance, freedom, and love. With these forty short poems Johnny Baranski and David Rosen arrange a bouquet of hope. While our world is under threat of so many dangers, nuclear weapons, terrorism, racial division, and climate change to mention just a few, it is their belief that the language of flowers will prevail. Johnny Baranski has been writing haiku and its related forms for over forty years. He is the author of several chapbooks, including: Pencil Flowers: Jail Haiku; Convicts Shoot the Breeze; Just a Stone's Throw; and Blossoming Pear.
