At best, children are taught a biased view towards American history that could have been penned by Karl Marx himself. It is truly remarkable how much we are enslaving both our children and ourselves by not studying and learning basic history. The United States of America is the best country in the world. A country blessed by being founded on the principles of freedom and liberty of the individual that no other people have been privileged to experience. It is this freedom that drives others to come to our shores to know the true blessings of freedom; a freedom that we are soon to squander. The stories inside tell the history of us. How we got here and maybe where we are going. They are signposts from the past that warn us of our future. Events from the modern world tied directly to the events of the past. These stories make it clear that if you don't study history you are doomed to repeat it and if you don't understand your freedom you are doomed to loose it. These are letters written from a Freedom-loving Mother to her daughter, Lady Liberty. They are meant to inspire and warn. They tell the good and the bad of our past so that the next generation can see the warning signs in their future.
