Misery In The Dark: Three Women, Different Lives But One Common Denominator

Sabrina believes she has finally accomplished everything. She has a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and she has just accepted a new position at her job. She knows that with the new position comes greater responsibility, however, she never expected that she would have to keep secrets that could potentially ruin her career or worse her marriage. Jessica has never accepted the death of her father. She relies on the support of her family to help her uncover the mystery behind his death. What Jessica does not realize is that her support system has its own mystery that needs to be uncovered. While she is trying to cope with one tragedy, a second heartbreak tests the true meaning of "what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger." Michelle knew that raising a child as a single parent would be hard, especially since the child is her niece. As she tries to raise Allison as her own, she is faced with the reality that her brother not only left a child with her but he left behind lies and turmoil that she does not know how to deal with. With Allison getting older, Michelle finds herself in a bind trying to protect Allison, her brother's memory and her own lies. What looks normal on the outside may be abnormal on the inside and what looks right on the top can be wrong on the bottom. For these three women, what appears to be happiness in the light is only misery in the dark.
