Reach Into The Darkness

The story spans three generations of women beginning in the 1930's with Buddy Lou's first love, which is exhilarating-as first love can be. But shortly after graduating college, fate deals her a devastating blow. She will leave everything familiar, taking refuge with her Aunt Zelda and her quirky friends, who take her under their wing and give her emotional support as she faces the toughest decision of her life. An advertisement leads her to seek help at a children's home, and after meeting a deceptive woman she finds herself on a heart-breaking search through the 1940's. Soon, a military intelligence officer returning from the war gets involved with Buddy Lou's search, and she discovers a different kind of love as she comes to terms with decisions that set life changing events into motion, eventually coming full circle when her house is left to a woman who discovers interesting clues to Buddy's family history.
