Watch And Pray: Are You Ready?

Pentecostal, evangelical, and charismatic preachers generally pitch their end time messages on a historical mandatory cry: -Jesus is coming back again and he may come back tonight, His return is near - Are you ready?- We are told his coming may be tonight, so they are predicting when the Messiah will come although the word categorically states -No man knows the date or time when he shall return.- Matthew 24:35-36. They also tell us this is coming is near but how near is near. After all, we have been hearing this statement throughout our lifetimes. Today in 2016, we can all rest assured that there are clear biblical prophecies that speak to specific events that must take place before the Messiah returns. They can be categorized as: Increased apostasy; Acceleration of lawlessness; Israel's return to the promise land; Life threatening conditions ie: nuclear proliferation, disease epidemics, earthquakes, flooding, famine, economic collapse, wars: rumours of wars; Preparation for the one world church. Are we going to replicate the -Noah generation-? totally engrossed in self gratification not knowing the severity and suddenness of the coming destruction, leaving ourselves totally unprepared for the coming of the Son of man or are we going to wake up and recognize as in Luke 21:28 -And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh...- TODAY, we are implored to now develop a personal and unique relationship with Yahweh: whilst we WATCH AND PRAY.
