Sofia'S Sycamore

After the accident, Sofia is no longer the same. Something inside her that was long asleep has awaken, screaming. A demand for help she will not be able to ignore. For too long she has been living alone, suffocated by the very defense she has meticulously erected. Now, something is changing. Maybe they are just consequences of the accident: the fainting, the awaking in unknown places without recalling how she has got there. And that cry that grows from inside. Sofia will follow it throughout lands in which space and time are mere reflections of her own fears and thoughts. To guide her, a young girl with cold eyes, who will force her to question the meaning of her own existence. What if one day we manage to turn and look outside the cave we have been living in? What if we understand our reality was nothing but shadows? And what if the new world we finally see is not meant for us? Sofia will have to get to the edges of what she remembers, for other memories to unfold. But on that fine line between light and darkness lurk her fears, and beyond that, creeping through the shadows, hide the ghosts she does not want to face ever again. At the core of her journey, the sycamore stands high and majestic. Its roots dig deep into the earth, searching for water. Sofia will have to choose what to believe in: an already written destiny, without regrets, or a new life to face and live fully.
