Ecological CredoA large number of human and political idealists have left the academic environment and are approaching with increasing despair the level of environmental breakdown and ecological extinction. At the same time the leading powers of economic progression, political rhetoric and technological logistics, seem to get off their logical track and lead to generally unwished technomaniac consequences. Within a short time the great signs of secular development are erasing environment of not only the other species in the geographic living environment of our Earth, but even their physical and chemical fundaments. With every new decade the progressive signals are substituted by new sinister and self-destructive efforts. The leading forces of Western development are pointing at the catastrophic consequences not only on the economic field but also in social and cultural progression, and the prospering futures prognoses hereby turn out as a failure.A desperate search after new healing living and planning tools is now going on, all around the world. It is led by alternative scientists and deeply engaged youth groupings, with ecological loyalties towards the countryside. This book and its academic manager depart from a life-scientific perspective, which deepens its view to a cosmo-ecological arena and departs from the spiritual futures vision of Theodore Roszak and Fritjof Capra. But in my vision their innovative approach is complemented with the visions of Ilya Prigogine and Isabelle Stengers in the book "La Nouvelle Alliance: M?tamorphose de la science" (1984). The multitude of temporal factors and the recovering of time is the paradoxical point of departure. Sometimes their progressive results are captured by the more well placed actors. Their real contractors are the army of thermodynamic specialists.
