For an obviously distressed world, desirous of genuine peace and security, it has now become imperative for political, cultural, and religious leaders to begin looking at all the critical issues that have continued to defy human solutions over the years from a defining perspective. This opinion derives strength from the fact that the world did not come into existence by accident. It is logical therefore to opine that the creator of the universe has solutions to the problems of man and society. Anders Behring Breivik is a male Norwegian Christian with extreme right-wing convictions. He believes that Islam and Muslims pose grave dangers to the survival of Christianity and European civilization. Influenced by a wide range of intolerant ideologies, he carried out two separate terrorist attacks in Oslo and on the island of Utøya on 22 July 2011 to protest Norway's liberal policies towards Islam and Muslims. The attacks, which killed seventy-seven persons and injured three hundred and nineteen, is chronicled as the worst tragedy to have befallen Norway since the end of World War II. Going by the teachings of Jesus Christ, Christians are not supposed to be involved in terrorist activities. This book, therefore answers questions regarding what motives Christians to embrace extremist cultures, even when Jesus Christ, the epicenter of the Christian faith preached love, tolerance, forgiveness, peace, and good neighborliness. It also sheds light on how the faulty understanding of the principles of freedom, liberty, equality, and privacy is growing terrorism and encouraging many people in developed societies to defy God's authority. In addition to isolating the root causes of fundamentalism, the book highlights the role double standards and obnoxious foreign policies of the world's most industrialized nations play in instigating global insecurity.
