Divine Shadow Shan'Dnala:: The Light In The Darkness

On the night they were to be wed, the Legion came. The people of the town fought with everything they had, yet it wasn't enough. Those who weren't dead were taken away as slaves and the dead were carried away as "parts." All except for Tinok. He was unconscious and under the rubble of a collapsed inn. When he emerged from the rubble, he began to search for his missing bride while holding on to a solitary promise from Yahuwah, the God of all creation, "You will have her in all her purity." Over the years, Tinok has slowly fallen further and further into the darkness. He began to treat himself as a shield, believing that eventually he will be thrown away when he "breaks." He became reckless and ran head first into each battle, even choosing to fight alone when help was present. Then one day, he met her, and he felt something come alive within himself. Now with his promise fulfilled, will Tinok remain a shield, or will he find the strength in himself to accept the love of his wife and friends, and value his life the way they do. All the while the Legion plots to capture him for the power he hides as the chosen Black Light.
