MEMOIRS OF A WHORE Fayth Jackson, an only child, is snatched from her mother after a gruesome life changing tragedy. Once she is taken, she is forced to be a ward of the state. Bouncing from foster home to foster home, Fayth has to not only deal with strangers that are substituted for parents, but she has to endure the harsh mental and physical abuse that they're dishing out. He is a handsome man that seems to want to help and Fayth is quickly drawn to him. Hakeem uses his charming personality from the start but his deceptive motives soon begin to surface. Before Fayth can detect it, it's too late and she is trapped in something far worse than any foster home had ever been in. "So Fayth, is Lamar after you?" he questioned while stopping me in front of the door that led to the staircase. "How do you know Lamar?" "When my auntie called me and told me about the dude coming in the E.R., I came down here and found out what his name was. When I got back in my taxi, I called a few of my homeboys only to find out that dude was a pimp." My throat tightened up and there was a lump slowly forming. I swished some spit around in my mouth then swallowed. "Did he force you to work for him?" Tyran interrogated through clinched teeth. "How old are you?" "I'm seventeen and no I didn't work for him! He tried to have me service his tricks but I refused! That's when he threatened to kill me and I defended myself!" I whispered as I pulled Tyran inside the stairwell. "Oh shit! You cut him like that yo?" he gasped as he put his fist up to his mouth and lifted one leg. "Damn yo! You don't play do you? You out here slicing fools and shit!" Tyran seemed to be trying me and I didn't like the shit. I began snapping at him before I could catch myself. Yeah, I shut him up real quick. "Don't judge me until you know my story!"
