Polly Penguin attends the animal olympics to cheer on Bernard the dinosaur. Things do not go as planned and the egg and spoon race soon becomes a free for all. Bernard nominates Polly to replace an injured hippo in the javelin throw. But: ''Oh no, we can't have that. No, we don't have girls at the olympics.'' Don't losers throw like girls? Against all the odds and expectations of all the other animals, Polly is determined to be a winner. And with Bernard's encouragement, who knows what she can do? It's the taking part that matters and not the winning. But with encouragement, anything is possible.
