Lucy Perkins is beautiful and smart yet on the flip side she is neurotic and controlling. Abandoned by her fianc?, due to her demanding ways, she seeks a new plan for her life. Through the Mail Order Bride service , she finds a young prospector named Gary Evans and is soon on her way to Cripple Creek to become his new bride.However, fate has other things in store for Lucy.
