Beginning four weeks before Christmas, the family can use this guide to anticipate the celebration of the birth of Christ. It is hoped this will verify the Reason for the Season and help Christian families diminish the consumerism and commercialization of this religious holiday. Additionally, it is preparatory to the Second Coming since advent means a time of preparation.
