One year after winning Wizard White Beard's competition, Mongrel's still adjusting to his new role as king with the help-or rather hindrance-of his uncle, friends, and so-called allies. Tensions only get worse when Mongrel offers to host the one-year anniversary of world peace in Kingsbury.
