Surah Al-Baqarah is the longest Surah in the Qur'an; its virtues have been described in a multitude of hadiths and the benefits of reciting it are boundless. Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] stated: "Everything has a hump (or, high peak), and Al-Baqarah is the high peak of the Qur'an. Whoever recites Al-Baqarah at night in his house, Shaytan will not enter that house for three nights. Whoever recites it during the day in his house, then Shaytan will not enter that house for three days." Anyone who learns Surah Al-Baqarah and the 3rd Surah, Surah Al-Imran, will be protected on the Day of Resurrection.
