By 2175, the new Starlighter spacecraft can quickly reach the Oort Cloud. Global Space Alliance has chosen Commanders Stan and Vivian Jenkens to explore a confusing Quadrant 52 there, where robots and their construction crafts have mysterious vanished. Their Hydra Starlighter is one of its kind, with the best in artificial intelligence, Einstein, in control. Once Hydra appears in Quad 52, Vivian and Stan realize they are being observed by an alien technology possibly targeting Earth. Alone, but prepared to fight, they encounter a confounding world and aliens the imagination cannot fathom!
