My Border Collie World

The life of a stray dog is filled with loneliness, hunger, and danger-as Shep discovers after he is accidentally separated from the other puppies in his litter during a road trip. For nearly a year, the young border collie struggles to survive on his own. Finally, a kindhearted woman spots him walking, filthy and emaciated, along the side of the road and stops to rescue him. Laura has recently lost her beloved dog and is not sure she is ready for another furry companion, but Shep uses all his charm and affection to win her over. Shep and Laura become fast friends and enjoy many adventures together-attending summer camp, lifting the spirits of nursing home residents, entering Frisbee competitions. They also help one another through rough patches, even saving each other's lives.
