Memoirs Of A Pastor'S Wife

It was a shock to me when my husband surrendered to the ministry. I was not ready for the title of "a preacher's wife". I couldn't believe the Lord would use such a sinner as I had been. Also, my grandfather had been a Baptist preacher for 50 years, and Granny prayed I'd never marry one. It took me a while to pray and think thru all the emotional changes. Even our pastor suggested counseling when the Lord called my husband into the ministry. Well, in reality, He called me too. I felt a tremendous responsibility on my shoulders, as well as feelings of being very undeserving and unworthy. It really humbled me. But again, the Lord always equips us to do His bidding.
