Letters From Boot Camp

When my son informed me that he enlisted in the Marine Corps, I became an emotional wreck. Alan's letters really helped me to deal with the constant fear (of the unknown) and anxiety I was feeling while he was gone. His writing was very descriptive of what day-to-day life was like for him and the other recruits. To those former Marines out there, you might get a kick out of reading these letters; I'm sure they'll bring back some, shall we say, interesting memories.
