Christmas Cookies With A Pinch Of Love

Derek loves Christmas, his optimistic Christmas spirit is catching. Jasmine hadn't even realized it was Christmas until Derek rescues her from her uncle's first attempt to force her to return to his home. When she hid out in Derek's apartment, his place was decorated for Christmas and it made her feel safe from the harshness her world had become. Derek's Christmas spirit helped her realize her life needed to have some changes in it! Jasmine's life trials had caused her to hide in her apartment, unless she was heading to work at the care center. There, she had her three elderly friends that were always trying to give her advice about her love life. Derek helps her put up a Christmas tree, they watch Christmas movies together, and spend time making dinner for each other. Following the advice of their elderly friends, their favorite date activity becomes ice skating. Jasmine is enjoying her new life and her new friends, but still is receiving messages from her uncle. When Jasmine's Uncle tries to force her back home again, it comes out that he is really after her inheritance. Derek becomes her protector and he saves her more then once from her uncle. Derek and Jasmine realize that their feelings are more then just friendship towards each other. Their sweet relationship adds the perfect touch to the best time of the year. Christmas is the perfect time to fall in love. How could Jasmine not fall in love with a man who makes her Christmas cookies!
